Training

The UQ Torrents welcome those who would like to compete with us. You'll need to be reasonably physically fit and dedicated to bringing out the best in yourself. Training is down at the UQ Athletics Track (Sir William MacGregor Dve) after the recreational classes. (Outside semester, we train at 6.30pm)

During semester, practice is on after the recreation class. Please check the UQsport website for details. Bring water, comfortable clothes and remember to take off all jewelery

Recreational Classes

This class will teach you how to cheer, jump, stunt, do the funkiest break, cheer and hip hop dance moves. You’ll also receive a high energy aerobic, dance and pilates routine to give you that extra strength, flexibility and WOW you need. For absolute beginners to high level experience. Interested students should enrol with UQ sport. Classes are on Mondays 5.30-6.30pm for beginners and 6.30 - 7.30pm for intermediate students.
